EVA FAYE PITCHFORD
PORTLAND, Ore.—Memorial services for Eva Faye Pitchford were Aug. 22 in the Sunrise Chapel of the Portland Memorial Funeral Home.
Interment and committal was in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
Mrs. Pitchford died Aug. 18 in a Gladstone foster care home. She was 86.
Mrs. Pitchford was born in Silver Creek, Neb. She lived for 32 years in Green River before moving in 1957 to Milwaukie, Ore.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church and the Kendall Senior Citizens Association. She was also a past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Mrs. Pitchford is survived by two daughters, Winifred Van Valkenburg of Rock Springs and Helen Cross of Milwaukie; a son, Darwin Pitchford of Montpelier, Idaho; a brother, Elmer Myers of Milwaukie and a sister, Myrtle Cable of Milwaukie; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
