Charles Earnest "Earnie" Funk II, 69, of Waynesburg, died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.

He was born Saturday, September 18, 1948, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Charles Earnest Funk and Ethel Rush Funk.

Mr. Funk was a member of Batesfork Baptist Church in Sycamore. He was a member of Waynesburg Masonic Lodge 153 Free and Accepted Mason, Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461, James Farrell American Legion Post 330 and Washington Elks Lodge 776. He was also a member of Greene County Genealogical Society in Waynesburg.

Mr. Funk was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Funk enjoyed coin collecting and drag racing. He was a member of the "grumpy old men," who ate together in Greene County Airport Restaurant. He was co-owner of Funks Radiator Shop with his brother. He then worked for Recmix of PA Inc., a Mill Slag recycling Plant, as plant manager retiring in 2011.

The family appreciates hospice and Donnell House for the great care given to Mr. Funk.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria A. "Vickie" Feduk Funk, whom he married September 15, 1979.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are brother Terrance L. Funk.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, with the Rev. Cristy Wise officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township, Greene County. Waynesburg Masonic Lodge 153 Free and Accepted Masons will hold services at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301 or Cornerstone Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 547, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
