Stroke Suffered Last Week Ends in Death
A stroke of paralysis suffered last week proved fatal at 4 A. M. Sunday to Mrs. Mary Ellen Curtis, 70, at her home in Sabina.
Mrs. Curtis and her husband, Charles H. Curtis, had lived in the villages for about a year, having moved there from a farm nearby.
She was born February 11, 1868 and was the daughter of Thomas C. and Mary E. Wilson.
Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Sheeley, Sabina; Mrs. Winnie Moore, and Mrs. Almeda Hussey, both of Columbus; one son, Harry Curtis, Portsmouth; two brothers, Charles F. Wilson and John J. Wilson, both of Sabina; and four sisters, Mrs. Ann Hilderbrant, Homer, Ill., Mrs. Etta Allen, Wilmington; Mrs. Rosa Rogers, Samantha, and Mrs. Ida Hodson, Bowersville.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Littleton Funeral Home in Sabina Tuesday at 10 A. M. in charge of Rev. R. C. Tolbert of the Sabina M. P. Church. Interment will be in the Sabina cemetery.
