Betty Jean (Wall) Bishop, age 90 of Prince George, Virginia passed away peacefully on May 7, 2019. Betty was born in Springfield, Tennessee, but spent the majority of her life in Virginia.

For many years, Betty was the Curator of Education for the Quartermaster Museum in Fort Lee, Virginia. She was a doll doctor, had a passion for books, history, genealogy, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Texie Beatrice (Young) Jones and Gaither Jones, her husband of over fifty years, George W Bishop, her brother, Rev Sam Wall, and her only grandson, Brandon C Bishop.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Bishop of Seattle WA; sons, Casey Bishop (Susan) of Prince George, Carson Bishop of Seattle, and Kyle Bishop (Anne) of Mechanicsville VA. Six granddaughters: Shae, Claire, Jill, Molly, Emma and Kate, and two great-grandchildren: Ty and Penny.
