Miss Daisy Bird, daughter of the late Abel James Bird and Sarah A., his wife, died at her home near Grangeville, Va., Tuesday morning, January 16th, after a long illness, aged 58 years. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Church for a number of years. The funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon, January 18th, and were conducted by Rev. A. K. Lambdin. Interment was in the family burying ground. She is survived by one sister, Miss Annie Bird, and three brothers, Messrs. A. J. and W. E. Bird, of Keller, and Capt. George T. Bird, of Wachapreague.
