The death of Edward Reiter of Humboldt, Sask., occurred at Saskatoon, Sask. on June 12th, 1981 at the age of 78 years. Born in Springfield, Minn, he came to Canada In 1906 with his parents and farmed in the Annaheim district until 1970 when he retired into the town of Humboldt. His first wife Frances died in 1937 and he remarried Anna Kutzki in 1975. They lived in Humboldt until his passing. Mr. Reiter is survived by: his wife Anna, one son Don (Sylvia) of Annaheim, three grandchildren. A brother, Norbert of Humboldt, also a number of nieces and nephews, and a cousin Sr. Martha O S.E. Funeral Services were held from St. Au-gustines Roman Catholic Church, Humboldt on Tuesday, June 16th, 1981 at 10:00 a m. with interment at Humboldt, Sask. Rev. Fr. Florian O.S B. was the Celebrant. Honorary Pallbearers were: George and Melvin Reiter, Tom Reis, Ralph Egger. Bill Reis and Harold Deopker. Pallbearers were: Ken and Darel Reiter, Larry and George Reis, Delnar Vedress and Ed Vedress. Scharf's Funeral Home of Humboldt were in care of ail arrangements.
