Andrew Joseph Novy, precious infant son of Joe and Sheila Novy was born and died on Nov. 9, 2004 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Private family services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Monsignor Robert Gulig will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial, with Sister Marlene Greatens, homilist. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Survivors include his parents: Joe and Sheila (Sokel) Novy, Whitelaw; half sister, Emma Christianson; grandparents: Wayne and Cindy Novy, Whitelaw; Robert and Debbie Sokel, Menasha. Further survived by paternal great-grandparents: LaVerne and Buenell (Burgy) Jorgensen, Kellnersville; Jim and Ruth Stradal, Branch; maternal great-grandparents: Sue Sokel, Menasha; Mel and Mary Vanderlinden, Appleton; aunts and uncles include: Dennis (Lisa) Sokel, Neenah; Jamie Novy and Jackie Novy, both of Whitelaw; many great-aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandfathers: Donald Novy and Robert Sokel, Sr.

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.

Joe and Sheila would like to thank their family and friends, and all who have comforted them with cards, flowers and prayers, and a special thank you to the doctors and entire staff of the OB department of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for their compassionate care and kindness extended these past two weeks.
