Carley Campbell, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Campbell of Oakland who died at his home after being hit by a batted ball, was born at Avoca, Iowa, September 3, 1933.

He leaves to mourn his death his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Campbell, four brothers, Edward M., Alfred W., Ernest L., and Charlie W., and two sisters, Sarah C., and Nancy F., and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Pauley of Avoca.

The funeral was held at the Vieth funeral home Saturday, April 30. Burial was in the Avoca cemetery.
