Leroy Guillory, 77, of Lake Charles died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Mamou and lived in Lake Charles for the past 53 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in the Pacific and Atlantic theaters during World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 2130 and Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mr. Guillory retired from Olin Corp. as a lab analyst after 37 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Joetta Cronan Guillory of Lake Charles; two sons, Gregory Philip Guillory of Moss Bluff and Stephen Patrick Guillory of Lake Charles; three daughters, Mary Virginia Gibson of Sunset, Cynthia Anne Hymel of Lake Charles, and Carole Elizabeth Glasgow of Sugarland, Texas; 10 grand-children, Patrick, Nili, JoAnna, Jessica, Aaron, Ryan, Adam, Kathy, Josh, and Jake; three great-grandchil-dren, Abbey, Eliana, and Chipper; and one sister, Edvenia Fontenot of Oberlin.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-10 p.m. today, with a Scripture/rosary service beginning at 6 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Saturday.
