Marjorie Phyllis LITTLE (11/18/1925 - 04/18/2018)

LITTLE, Marjorie Phyllis (Age 92) Of Spokane, died Wednesday April 18, 2018 . Marjorie was born on November 18, 1925 in Burbank, South Dakota to Alfred L. and Martha A. (Crawford) Dallen. She moved with her family to Bronson, Iowa then, at the age of 16, Marjorie moved to Sioux City, Nebraska where she went to work as a nanny and completed her education. In Sioux City she met Lawrence Little. They were married there on July 3, 1944. They lived in South Sioux City until 1965, then traveled to Columbus, NB, Iowa, Arizona and settled in Spokane in 1983.

Marjorie was a devout Catholic and a member of Mt. St. Michael Catholic Church. She had been an accomplished seamstress all of her life. Marjorie will be remembered for her rosaries. She was passionate about creating rosaries for newly married, new births, specialty beads for her "rocking daddies" and especially for the priests and Sisters of Mt. St. Michael. She saw it as her mission to be sure the Sisters and priests wanted for nothing.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eileen, Elizabeth and Mary Ann, her brothers Richard, Alfred, Lawrence and Conrad.

She is survived by her son Galen (Michelle), brother Michael, sisters Theresa Gruiner, Delilah Juric and Charlene Matousek, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vigil services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Mt. St. Michael. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 24 at 10:30 AM at Mt. St. Michael with burial to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
