Wayne L. DeBerry, 77, of Reedsville, WV died Monday, January 17, 2005 at the Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. He was born December 10, 1927 in Preston County, a son of the late Lloyd and Edna Strawser DeBerry. He was a retired coal miner with over 28 years of service. He is survived by three sons, Wayne DeBerry of Masontown, Steve DeBerry of Morgantown, and Dave and Cindy Broadwater-DeBerry of Masontown; two daughters, Robin Glover of Kingwood and Vickie DeBerry of Greensboro, PA; two step-sons, James Albright and spouse Linda and Bill Albright and spouse Sue, all of Masontown; one step-daughter, Gwenda Flenniken of Somerset, PA; one sister, Carolyn Sue Bunch of Cleveland, OH; 35 grandchildred and 43 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Juanita Johnson DeBerry; two sons, Lynn and Tommy DeBerry; one step-daughter, Juanita Fortney Hayes; one grandchild, Michael DeBerry; four brothers, Howard and Harry DeBerry and twins Lorain and Elwood DeBerry; seven sisters, Thelma DeBerry, Geraldine Eagle, Marie Mayle, Mary McCloud, Beulah Powell, Madeline Titchenell, and Genevieve Uphold; Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home, Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, Kingwood and on Thursday, January 20, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will be in the Campground Cemetery. Personal condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.rotruck-lobb.com.
