DABNEY, Kay Ellen

55, of Odessa, FL, passed away March 29, 2018. She was born in Memphis, TN, and as a young girl she moved to Lutz, FL. Kay was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lutz. She recently retired from Publix after working for them for 20 years, and her customers miss her greatly. Kay loved the color purple and she enjoyed painting and using her creative artistic side. She collected Beanie Babies. Kay loved not only her Chihuahuas but all Chihuahua things like pictures and stuffed animals. Kay was preceded in death by her father, William Dabney and brother, Kennon Dabney. She is survived by her two dogs, Jazzy and Cookie; mother, Lorraine Dabney; two brothers, Kevin Dabney and his wife, Lauren and Kirk Dabney; one sister, Kristen Smith; many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at 2 pm, Sunday, April 22, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Lutz.
