Bruce was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and master teacher.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol (nee Clark) as well as five children:
Mark, Christopher (Nancy), Suzanne (Tony), Jill (Patrick), and Jennifer (Karim).
Grandfather to Ellen, John, Kati (Jamil), Joseph, Alexandra, Anthony, Daniel and Teresa.
Further survived by great grandchildren, Savannah and Jaymin.
Preceded in death by daughter-in-law Jane Bamberg.
Bruce grew up in Port Washington, WI and graduated from Port Washington H.S. in 1954. He met Carol in Port Washington and they married in 1960 and lived in Milwaukee.
Bruce attained his B.S. from UW-Oshkosh in Mathematics with minors in Chemistry and Physics in 1958. He received his Master's Degree in Mathematics from Indiana University in 1965 as well as his M.S in Guidance and Administration from UW-Milwaukee in the same year.
Bruce was an educator for 39 years with Milwaukee Public Schools, serving as Math Department Chair at Rufus King High School and later at James Madison High School.
Bruce retired in 1999 and enjoyed spending time at the family cottage, gardening, spending time with his family, and volunteering as a guide at the Judge Eghart House, his childhood home.
