Clark Case, a resident of Sauk Centre since following the close of the Civil War, except for a few years spent at Breckenridge, Minn., passed away at the family home on south Main street early Tuesday morning, Oct. 4, 1921. He was born in Stevens county, New York, Nov. 8, 1844. At the age of 14 he came to Nininger, Dakota county, Minn. He enlisted in Company G., Hatch's Independent Battalion, Minnesota cavalry, Aug. 22, 1863, and served until June 22, 1866.
He married Harriet Parker in Sauk Centre on Sept. 10, 1869. This union resulted in 3 children, Mrs. Thomas Sullivan of this city being the only survivor. The aged wife also survives. There is one living brother, Harrison Case.
