Robert Lee Ewton Jr. of Tulsa, OK passed away Wednesday, April 4th, 2018.

Robert grew up in Broken Arrow, OK, surrounded by his numerous siblings and cousins. He spent much of his youth working with his animals on their farm or spending time at his grandfather's barber shop on Main Street.

He was married at 19 and two children followed soon after. He worked various jobs in manufacturing until he earned his A&P license and began work as an aircraft mechanic at American Airlines.

In 2001, he survived a battle with cancer, but lost one of his lungs in the struggle. He continued to work for several more years until his early retirement.

Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing, visiting antique shops, bluegrass music, and learning about family history. He was usually working on a project of some sort, such building smokers, dog houses, or even little bird perches for friends.

He is survived by his son and wife of Owasso, OK; daughter and husband of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughter, longtime partner, sister and the mother of his children.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and two brothers.
