Chattanooga Times, 5 November 1997:RHEA, JOE EDWARD, 85, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, at his home. He was a member of Dallas Bay Church of God. Survivors include two sons, Marvin and Ricky Rhea, Chattanooga; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Fred Layne officiating. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today at the Dodds Avenue Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
