Funeral services for Tatum Baxley, 60, 3229 Hollywood Ave., who died at 2:45 p.m. Monday at Confederate Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday are Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Ajax Cemetery near Pleasant Hill.
Mr. Baxley, a native of Pleasant Hill, was a route salesman for a dry cleaning firm. He had lived in Shreveport for the past six years.
SURVIVORS include five sisters, Mrs. Ora McLelland of Camden, Arkansas, Mrs. Sadie Bond of Lane, Okla., Mrs. Floye Carter of Pascagoula, Miss., Mrs. Elva Cassady of Shreveport, and Mrs. Jewel Mason of Mansfield; a step-sister, Mrs. Tessie King of Baytown, Texas; two step-brothers, Austin Williams of Shreveport and Houston Williams of Texas.
