WILLIAM J. ADAMS DIES TUESDAY MORNING
William Jerrome Adams, age 69, of Idabel, Route 1, passed away at his home there at 1:15 Tuesday morning.
Mr. Adams had been a resident of McCurtain county for the past 40 years, coming here from Hopkins county Texas, where he was born October 20, 1877. Most of the time he has lived in or near Goodwater. He was a member of the Baptist church and a member of the Haworth Masonic lodge.
Survivors are his widow; a step-daughter, Mrs. J.T. Turner, Hot Springs, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Kromeray, Hollywood, Calif., Mrs. L.M. Miller, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. J.J. Jeter, Hot Springs, Ark.; two sons, Prentiss, Hot Springs, and Pernie, Foreman, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Bob Furgerson, Ada, Mrs. Denie Smith, New Boston, Texas, and Mrs. G.H. Gary, Madill; one brother, C.L. Adams, Walters; and 16 grandchildren.
