Obituary: Albert S. Brooks, 79, of 6920 West Central Ave., died Saturday in Flower Hospital. He was a letter carrier for 36 years, the last 12 in the Old Orchard area. He retired in 1960. He was a World War 1 veteran. Surviving are his wife, Meredith; son, Charles; and sisters, Mrs. Celia Brooks and Mrs. Mary Eshleman. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Herman Birkencamp & Son Mortuary, where the body will be after 7 tonight. Masonic services by Boaz Lodge, F & AM, will be at 8 p.m. Monday in the mortuary. [Toledo OH newspaper]
