Martin F. Daley, 83, uncle of Mayor Richard J. Daley, died yesterday in the home of his daughter, Lucille Ginsburg, 8116 Campbell av., where he had been living for the last few years. Mr. Daley was a former business manager and treasurer of Local 1 Boilermakers and Helpers Union. He quit the posts in 1961 after losing a fight for control of the union.
He was the brother of Anne, Margaret Curry, and the late John, James, Michael, Jule, Sister Mary Laurian, O.D., and Albert.
