Gene Nolte, 58, of Richmond IN, passed away April 23, 2018 surrounded by family. Gene was born March 7, 1960 in Richmond to Beverley Lahrman (Richard) of Richmond and Gene Nolte Sr. (Phyllis) of Florida. He worked at Colorbox and Suncall of America. Gene loved playing cards and watching sports. He really loved spending time with family, especially his grandkids.
Survivors include his daughter Brandi Nolte, son Zac Nolte, and fiancé Patty Lugar; both parents; many nieces and nephews with special nephew Lucas Smith; grandkids, Chevelle Nolte, Austin Gard, Nessa Nolte, Vayda Nolte, Mercedes Shelton, Brooke Shelton, and Hunter Newman all of Richmond; great grandkids Journee, Gavin, and Brayley all of Richmond; 2 brothers Kurt Nolte (Katie) of Texas and Gaar Nolte (Ann) of Florida, one sister Tia Adkins (Eddie) of Florida; stepsister Kristy Coil (Jim) of Muncie and stepbrothers David and Tim Lahrman.
Gene is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Cecile Smith and Fay Wood, his paternal grandparents John and Ruth Nolte; stepbrother Chuck Lahrman, and niece Casey Robinson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday April 27, 2018 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Russ Uhte officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
