Jewell Brown, 85, of Peterstown, WV was the daughter of the late Homer G. and Josephine Helvey Burns. Jewell attended Peterstown High School, worked at McLeans Drug Store, Hometown Pharmacy, volunteered at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital Auxillary and was a member of the Peterstown United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Dale E. Brown; two sisters, Ruth Harry and Patricia Newberry; and one brother, Jerry Burns. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa B. Maddox and her little dog, Sophie.
