CHATEAUGAY – Mrs. Ernest Grew, 66, a lifelong resident of this area, died Thursday in Merrill.

She was born in Belmont, the daughter of Ogden and Barbara (Campbell) Begore.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. John Eleanor Cannon and Mrs. Fred (Rachel) Swift; one son, Lewis of Massena; four brothers, Chester Begor, Leander of Vermontville, Ogden of Merrill and Milley of Jamestown; six grandchildren; two g-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Mooers Forks.
