BUTCHER PEN -- Graveside services for Ralph D. Sullivan, 85, of Butcher Pen will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Bee Cemetery with Brother James Tisdell officiating.

Sullivan was born July 7, 1915, to James M. and Emily Dodson Sullivan in Doyle. He died October 28, 2000, at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, LeRoy and Ralph, several brothers and sisters and one great-grandchild.

He lived in Stephens County most of his life and worked as a farmer and a truck driver for the city of Duncan. After the death of his first wife, Gracie Sullivan in 1940, he married Zora Aline Hadlock on October 30, 1943, in Marlow. He moved to Butcher Pen in 1985 and had lived there since that time.

He is survived by his wife Zora, of the home; a son, James Sullivan of Butcher Pen, four grandchildren, James L. Sullivan of Ardmore, Jeffrey W. Sullivan of Butcher Pen, Cheri Kay Goggin of Joshua, Texas, and Bobbie Jane Montanez of Maypearl, Texas; 13 great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Tishomingo.
