OBITUARY: Thomas Laurito of Apex, N.C. Thomas Laurito, 85, former owner of the Barton's Inn, Smithboro, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2003. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Terwilliger, on September 1, 2003. Mr. Laurito is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marian Laurito, Apex, N.C.; one son, Michael Laurito and his wife Nancy-Jeanne, Tioga Center, N.Y.; a son-in-law, Howard Terwilliger; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marion Warren, Fla. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, September 12, at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, N.C. 27603. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Garner. Arrangements are by Montlawn Memorial Park Funerals & Cremations. (919) 772-1073.
