Born September 26, 1947 at Matoaka, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Estel Bailey (1896-1962) and Nellie L. Hubbard-Bailey-Laxton (1920-1980). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Skip” R. Caldwell (1942-1991); and siblings, Hazel H. Bailey (1922-1991), Marie Bailey-Spangler (Deceased), Kathleen Bailey-Hylton (Deceased), Carol Bailey-Kessinger (Deceased), Isaac "Ike" Bailey (1917-1992), Fred Bailey (Deceased), Buster Bailey (Deceased) and Kenneth Bailey (Deceased).
Survivors include stepdaughter, Tammy Caldwell-Wine; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Curtis Honaker officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
