Katherine C. Graef, 77, of Kiel died Monday morning, April 30, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care New Holstein. She was born on November 24, 1940 in Plymouth, WI. Daughter of the late Arthur & Ethel (Fischer) Graef. Kathy attended Kiel Schools and was a 1959 graduate of Kiel High School. She furthered her education at Lakeland College, graduating in 1964.

Kathy had worked for many years for Dusty Roads & Christmen Amusements. She was a member of St. Peter UCC, Kiel and the Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S). Kathy had a lifelong connection with the Girl Scouts and was awarded the 50 Year Member Certificate. Kathy was a friend to many. She lived her life according to one simple rule...”God first, others second, self third.”

Kathy is survived by a large circle of friends she considered her family, especially, Geraldine Huotari and her family, Nancy Walsdorf, Sharon Carlson, Fran Pitz, Katherine Long, and her dear friend, David Spilman. She is further survived by her Godsons; Adam & Zachary Christel.

Funeral Services for Kathy will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th St., Kiel). Visitation for family and friends will take place at the Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm. Burial will take place in the Kiel City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for St. Peter UCC, Kiel.
