Thomas Leslie Wofford, 95 of Hoover, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. Mr. Wofford was a WWII veteran. He retired from Southern Railroad after 36 years of dedicated service. He was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Hoover. Thomas was known for his paintings, his Christmas cards, and his kindness and generosity. And if you were lucky, he would lovingly call you “shug.” Mr. Wofford is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lena Wofford.
