MY GRANDFATHER
Chat was born in Brownlow Magoffin County, Kentucky, the son of the late Cornelius Tackett and Sarah (Burke) Tackett. On December 24, 1902 he married (my grandmother) Penola Jane (Howard) Tackett. They had eight children, Mckinley, Jesse, Henry, (my father, Neal), Arlie, Cecil, Conrad (Jimmie), and Bessie. His second wife Gusta,(whom he's buried beside) preceded him in death. Chat and third wife Polly were married until he passed away.
