Carol Jean Anderson Curia 78, of West Valley City, Utah passed away peacefully at her hone on April 25, 2018.

She was born February 6, 1940 to Miles and Jennie Anderson of SLC.

She married Albert Curia the love of her life and they enjoyed over 40 devoted years together. They had two children, Debi and Tony.

Together they enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. Carol loved the mountains, the smell of pine trees and her beloved dogs. She had an inviting spirit and a joyful laugh.

Carol was a caring Mom, fun loving Grandmother, loyal friend, avid bowler, talented gardener and tireless volunteer with the SLC Camp Fire Girls. She retired from the Utah State Department of Recovery Services after 28 years of service.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Miles and Jennie; husband Albert; and brother Michael. She is survived by her sisters Susan Robertson and Janet Sackett; her children Debi Kerr and Tony (Linda) Curia; grandchildren David, Michael, Robert, Joseph and Therese; as well as great grandsons Jeremy and James.

A private memorial will be held at a future date.
