He was the four month old son of Roscoe and Mary Ann Thayer Bowen.
Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Brian and Bradley, both at home, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delos Thayer, Talcottville; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Cooper, Port Leyden.
