TUSCOLA Jimmy Stockton 16, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. A Funeral service will be held on Sunday May 6, 2018 at 3 pm at the Tuscola United Methodist Church, Ryan Goodwin officiating directed by Fry-Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.

Jimmy we born in Moro on June 2, 2001 to Steve Stockton and Janie (Dodd) Spurrier. He attended Jim Ned Schools and was finishing his junior year. Jimmy was looking forward to graduating early.

Jimmy loved to read, take care of his chickens and horses, dance two -step, go hiking, eat Mexican food and steak, but loved his mom's cooking the most. He loved God and read his bible often. He was the best help working on the farm. He was a major inspiration to all those around him, especially his siblings and peers.

He is survived by his parents Steve Stockton of Tuscola and Janie Spurrier and husband Joe of Fort Davis; brother Hugh John Stockton of Fort Davis; sister Jacqueline Stockton of Stephenville; paternal grandmother Linda Stockton of Tuscola; maternal grandparents Jack and Janice Dodd of Cache, Ok; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded by his grandfather Loy Stockton, and aunt Deidra Stockton.
