Mr. Collins Barton of Northeast, passed away suddenly on his farm near Coleman's Station, Thursday afternoon of this week from an attack of heart failure. His heart had been weak for the past three years, and danger of death was emminent, but he had felt better of late. Tuesday he and a hired man, Charles Speed, went out to the woods to cut fence posts; in getting over a fence Mr Barton sank to the ground, and after a few gasps was dead. Mr Barton was a highly respected man and good citizen and at the time of his death was in his 57th year. The funeral, in charge of Funeral Director Hamm of Amenia, will be held at home Monday at 10:30 a.m., interment in Millerton cemetery.
