The funeral service for Harry Paul Steiger, 67, of Lemont Furnace who died Sunday in Uniontown Hospital will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Burhans funeral home in Dunbar with the Rev. Earl P. Confer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemeteyr in Uniontown.
He was born in Lancaster March 8, 1891, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Steiger, and had resided in this area most of his life. He was a painter by occupation and belonged to the Painters Union, Local 198, of Uniontown.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Patricia) Roebuck of Eaton, N.J.; two sons, Robert and Ronald, of Uniontown, and a stepson, William Landman of Lemont Furnace.

The Lancaster mentioned is in Butler County. I found Harry P. Steiger's WWI draft registration. It says he lived at Lancaster, Butler County. B. March 9, 1891. He was married and a general contractor in business for himself. It says he was in the National Guard. He was of medium height and build with light hair and gray eyes. This was on June 5, 1917.
