After an extended stay in the hospital due to failing health, Mrs. Peterson passed away at the Golden Living Windermere in Augusta, GA under the care of Hospice.
She was born in Lubbock, TX and lived in the Temple/Belton area for many years, and has spent the last 7 years in Augusta, GA. She was a member of First Baptist of Belton, and Fellowship Baptist of Morgan's Point.
Preceded in death by her 1st born Daughter Michele Rene Hatsell, Parents Charles and Lucile (Gentry) Young, and Sister Sara Stroud.
Survived by Husband Stephan Peterson, Son Donny Hatsell and Wife Kim of Heber Springs, AR, Daughter Christina Berry and Husband Kevin, Brother Jarrell Young and Wife Peggy, Sisters, Mary Runkles and Barbara Grimes along with 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and many Niece's and Nephew's.
Services for Mrs. Peterson will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home, Harker Heights. Interment will follow at Temple Garden of Memories, Temple, TX.
