WHITFIELD BROOKS IS BURIED AT EDGEFIELD
EDGEFIELD, S. C. April 17. -
Whitfield Brooks, the son of Col. J. Hampden Brooks, of Ninety Six, and a nephew of Senator Preston Brooks, died in Columbia yesterday, and his body was brought here for burial today in the old Brooks plot in ther city cemetery, where lie his distinguished antecedents. He was 67 years old.
