Death of William J. Strayer
William J. Strayer, 73, a former Cochranton resident, died Thursday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Warren, Ohio, as the result of injuries incurred in an auto accident in Warren last March.
He moved from Cochranton ten years ago to Warren where he was employed as a carpenter by the Taylor Winfield Company.
Survivors include his widow, five sons, Harold W. Strayer of Meadville, Charles of Cochranton, Merle L. Strayer of Sharon, Burt A., of Warren and Willard L. Strayer of Fenton, Michigan; one daughter Mrs. John O'Loughlin of Beaver Falls, a brother Henry M. Strayer of Meadville, and a sister, Miss Alzina Strayer of Hollywood, California.
Friends may call after noon Saturday at the E. J. Fleming Funeral Home, Cochranton, where services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at Cochranton Cemetery.

William married Nellie Peterson about 1889 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
