Mary Katherine Brock, 98, of Celeste, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in Celeste. Burial will be at Grady Cemetery.

Mary Katherine was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Rev. Hughey H and Jewel (Oliver) McCollum. She grew up in Ennis and attended Ennis High School. On August 18, 1939, she married JB Brock and they made their home in San Diego, California, until 1955 when they moved to Los Angeles and then to Celeste, Texas, in 1987.

Mary was a homemaker, and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love for her family has reached all the way to her great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Kingston Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outside and her favorite thing to do was fish.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JB Brock; son, Raymond Joe Brock; and sisters: Wyvonne Quillan, Peggy Anthony, Margaret Vanbibber, Joy Jones, and Mildred Armstrong.

Survivors include her son, Randy Brock and his wife, Kelley; daughter-in-law, Carol Brock; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; extended family and many friends. Q5
