Abraham L. Sweeney was the last child born to James Sweeney, Sr. and Lilith Sweeney. He had two brothers Lou and James, Jr. Sweeney. He was the hope of his family when he went to Virginia to become a doctor. He married Lydia Lyvonne at their home. He had two children, Maxwell and Cooper. His life was cut short at age 22 when he was stabbed to death in his home in Blacksburg, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his son, Max (1900 - 1900).
He is survived by son, Cooper (1899 - 1981) and wife Lydia (1881 - 1962).
