Aaron Todd Poland, 45, lost his long, well fought battle with brain cancer on July 14, 2016, in Toccoa, Georgia. He was born June 9, 1971, in Bowling Green, Ohio. After graduating from Anthony Wayne High School, Todd was a long-term employee of the Lucas County Sherriff's Department as a Corrections Officer. Todd achieved a black belt in Aikido (Escort and Restraint), loved fishing on Lake Erie and Point Breeze, NY on Lake Ontario with his grandpa, dad and uncles. He also enjoyed going to the movies (especially all Star Wars films), reading and spending time at his cousin's cabin in the Smokey Mountains. He was also a Mason at the Wakeman Lodge in Waterville, Ohio. Todd will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held in Toccoa, Georgia.
