LOOKOUT — Robert Lewis Arthur, 74, of Lookout, WV and formerly of Ansted, WV was born at Cain Branch, WV. He was the son of the late James Wesley and Hessie Gertrude Hickman Arthur. Robert was a World War II Army disabled veteran, member of the Gilgal Methodist Church, Mt. Nebo, WV, a member of the DAV, American Legion, Ansted VFW and the Ansted Knights of Pythians. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobba Ann Hannifan. Survivors include his wife, Marion Jones Arthur; a daughter, Marianna Kittle; a son, Robert L. Arthur II; two sisters, Wynona Jenkins and Mae Cogar; and a brother, Arnold Arthur.
