Suddenly on July 12, 2005, Arthur Lee Drinkard (Nana), made her transition in Las Vegas, Nev. A resident of Orange, N.J., she is predeceased by her husband, Mancel Leland Warrick, her son, Mancel Leland Warrick Jr., her parents, Nicholas and Delia Drinkard, her sister, Anne Drinkard Moss and her spouse, Felix Moss, her brothers, William Drinkard, Handsome Drinkard, Nicholas Drinkard and his spouse, Alberta Drinkard, her brother-in-law, John Houston, and her adopted daughter, Judy Guion Clay. She is survived by her daughters, Dionne Warwick and Delia (Dee Dee) Warrick, her sisters, Marie Drinkard Epps and her spouse, Joseph Epps, Dr. Emily Cissy Drinkard Houston, her brother, Larry Drinkard and his spouse, Ruth Drinkard, loving grandmother of Barrnace Warrick I and his spouse, Deanna Warrick, David Elliott and his spouse, Lisa Elliott, Damon Elliott and his spouse, Tamani Elliott, precious great-grandmother of Barrance Warrick II, Brittney Warrick, Alyssa Warrick, Cheyenne Elliott, Kaelyn Elliott and Alexander Warrick, she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the New Hope Baptist Church, 106 Sussex Ave., Newark. Interment at the family plot, Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation will be held Monday 12 noon until 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by WHIGHAM FUNERAL HOME.
