On June 1, 1900 Mary A. Ross (21) was living in Sulphur Springs Township, Howard County, Arkansas with her husband William N. (22), farmer, and children Wade (2), and Amos W. (2 months). She was the mother of two children, both living.

Funeral Services for Mrs. W.N. Ross to be held Saturday

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at the Methodist church for Mrs. W.N. Ross, 71, with the Rev. Lloyd Peters officiating.

She died at the Dickerson hospital in De Queen Thursday morning following a stroke suffered late Wednesday.

Mrs. Ross was born in Umpire, Arkansas and had resided in Broken Bow for the past 18 years.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Ed Robinson, El Dorado, Mrs. Ira Smith, Broken Bow, and Mrs. Monroe Upchurch, Overton, Texas; two sons, Jewell and Kelsie Ross, Broken Bow; one brother, George Musgrave, Antlers, Oklahoma; and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Ross, Broken Bow.

MRS. W.N. ROSS DIES THURSDAY

Mrs. W. N. Ross, 71, wife of a Broken Bow lumber mill owner, died at the Dickerson clinic, De Queen, at 11 A.M. Thursday following an extended illness.

Born in Umpire, Arkansas, June 28, 1878, she had resided at Broken Bow for the past 18 years, moving from Gillham, Arkansas. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Monroe Upchurch, Overton, Texas, Mrs. Ira Smith, Broken Bow, and Mrs. Ed Robinson, El Dorado, Arkansas; two sons, Jewell and Kelsie Ross, both of Broken Bow; one brother, George Musgrave, Antlers, Oklahoma; and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Ross, Broken Bow; 16 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services have been set for 2 P.M. today at the Broken Bow Methodist Church with Rev. Lloyd Peters, pastor, officiating.

Arrangements and burial in Denison Cemetery are under direction of Coffey funeral home.
