Buddy K Allgood, 78 of St. Anthony, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at The Homestead in Rexburg.

Bud was born on August 6, 1939 in Teton City, Idaho to Ernest E and Neva Maud Harris Allgood.

He attended Teton Elementary and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1957. He received an Associates degree from Rick College in 1960.

He married Reta Coleman on November 10, 1961 in Wilford, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. As a member of the LDS Church he served in the scouting program while his boys of that age, he also served in the Elders Quorum Presidency.

He served in the National Guard and was discharged in 1965. He was employed by Utah Power and Light where he was a Right of Way Agent and retired after 35 years.

He enjoyed playing church softball and loved to hunt, fish and golf.

He is survived by his wife Reta Allgood, sons, Trent (Kim) Allgood and Troy (Lynda) Allgood; grandsons, Zach Allgood, Matt Allgood, Devon Allgood and Chase Allgood; a great grandson Rowan Allgood; siblings, Jean (Marvin) Herndon, Linda (Gary) Cambell and Harris (Joyce) Allgood. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Marvalee Tucker and two sons, Todd and Tyree Allgood.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center with Bishop Jack Church of the St. Anthony 1st Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
