Casimir Putz, 614 Euclid Ave., died at 7:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of one week.
He was born in South Bend Jan. 2, 1886, and lived here all of his life. He married Mary Wojtysiak on May 30, 1905. Putz retired in 1954 from the Singer Manufacturing Co. where he was employed for 20 years.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Florence Sokola of South Bend and Mrs. Annette Scheiner of Decatur, Ind.; two sons, Henry and Richard, of South Bend, and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
