Thelma L. Milik, 71, of Beckley, formerly of Hildebrand, died Friday, March 24, 2000, at home.

She was born Dec. 12, 1928, in Fairmont, daughter of the late Jesse and Della Perkins Lamp Sr.

She was employed at Gabbert's Store in Hildebrand for 26 years.

She is survived by a daughter and spouse, Cindy and Burge Speilman, of Beckley; two sons and a spouse, Dennis and Kathryn Milik, and Larry Milik, all of Morgantown; 10 grandchildren, Burge, Tracy and Zachary Speilman, and Melissa, Chad, Shannon, Brittany , Lucas, Steve and Stephanie Milik; a great-granddaughter, Makaelynn Milik; a brother and spouse, Russell and Marie Lamp, of Morgantown; five sisters and three spouses, Juanita West, of Morgantown, Phyllis Smith, of Smithburg, Mary Lee and Harland Tinney , of Center Point, Daisy and Kenny Carder, of Columbus, Ohio, and Dorothy and Dave Conrad, of Orlando, Fla.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Milik Jr.; a daughter, Rhonda Milik; four brothers, John Lamp, Orval Lamp, Jesse "Jack" Lamp Jr. and Archie Lamp; a sister, Rachel Smith.

Friends may call at the William McCulla Funeral Home, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, at the Delmar Chapel Church, with the Rev. Max Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. Donati ons: Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
