Betty was a thoughtful, generous, and loving lady who always puts the needs of others over her own needs. Everyone who knew her had tasted her famous strudel, and just like that sweet strudel, Betty herself was perfect and sweet. She had a love for birds, chickens, planting flowers, and gardening. She could be found trying her hand with lottery tickets and found herself lucky more than once.
Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, James “Jim” Price; son, Tracy (Tina) Price; daughter, Brenda (Tom) White; grandchildren, Alexander and Abigail White; two sisters; best friend, Nancy Moree; and numerous other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Price; and three brothers.
No public services will be observed. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or a Veterans organization of the donor’s choice. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Price family.
