He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra; 3 daughters: Annette (Jeffrey) Geraci of Crown Point, Denise (Danny) Bailey of Hobart, Lesli (Randy) Norris of Rensselaer; 7 grandchildren: Stephanie, Sarah & Megan Geraci, Joshua Bailey, Rachel, Cody & Haley Norris; mother, Mina Banchich of Crown Point; 1 sister, Judith (Lloyd) Chandler of Crown Point; 3 brothers: James (Carol) Bice of Iowa, David (Cindy) Bice of Merrillville, Ronald (Melanie) Bice of Hebron. Preceded in death by father, William E. Bice, sister, Dorothy Bice. Funeral services Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Geisen Funeral Home, Crown Point with Fr. Edward Kennedy officiating. Interment Maplewood Memorial Cemetery, Crown Point. Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home 109 N. East St, Crown Point Monday May 15, 2006 from 2-8 p.m. Mr. Bice was retired from Inland Steel with over 36 years of service. William enjoyed woodworking, motorcycles, golf & Nascar. But most of all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren. William was a member of the Army Reserves for over 10 years beginning in the late 50's.
