Frances Jackson Davis, 96, of Hillsboro, died Monday, April 16, 2007, at Hill Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with the Rev. Reed Justus officiating. Interment will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Frances was born in Hillsboro, Texas, to the late Whit and Stella (Godfrey) Robertson. Frances was an accomplished pianist and played for many civic groups including the Hillsboro Lions Club, where she was club sweetheart for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, Hillsboro Country Club, Hill College Century Club, numerous bridge clubs, and lifetime member of Monday Review.

She married Burris C. Jackson on May 8, 1934, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1967; she later married William P. "Bill" Davis and he preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1992; a brother, W. C. Robertson Jr.; and sister, Xie Harvey.

Survivors include niece, Denise Tuggle and her husband, John, of Hillsboro; nephew, Whit Harvey and his wife, Lela, of Las Cruces, N.M.; great-nieces, Brooke Tuggle and her husband, Mark Pomeroy, of Portland, Ore., and Emmy Harvey, of Las Cruces, N.M.; great-great-nephew, Nate Pomeroy, of Portland, Ore.; brother-in-law, Randolph Jackson and his wife, Virginia, of Granbury; a number of nieces and nephews in the Jackson family; step-son, Wallis Davis and his wife, Olga, of San Antonio; step-grandchildren, Harvey and Jon Davis; three step-great-grandchildren; and many cousins.
