Josephine B (Gallegos) Allen-Forsythe, 83, passed away on May 18, 2018. She was born on August 9, 1934, in Ponderosa, New Mexico, to Miquelita (Garcia) and Jose "Rosendo" Gallegos.

Josephine was a military wife, first to her husband and the father of her children, Harold Ray Allen (U.S. Army); and then to her second husband, Maurice C Forsythe (U.S. Air Force), both of whom preceded her in death.

Josephine was the beloved matriarch of her extended family and will always be remembered for her strength, her agility, and her love for life, family and God. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She lived a very full and exciting life, seeing all corners of the globe and making life-long friends along the way.

She is survived by her four daughters: Theresa Allen (husband, Gregory Dinger); Katherine Lujan (husband, Al); Deborah Aragon (husband, John); and Cynthia Sikelianos; eight grandchildren: Tanya Santistevan (Ivan); Troy Giangola (Shannon), Eric Lujan (Addy), Tiffany Lujan, Melissa Aragon, Soul Aragon, Nicolette Sikelianos, and Drake Sikelianos; and five great-grandchildren.
